Our Agliancio is made to age for 20–30 years in your cellar. Of course, there are some vintage-to-vintage variations to this recommendation. Wine should be stored horizontally at 55–57 degrees.
Drink now through 2038
Our inaugural release of Aglianico—a noble variety from southern Italy—has a dazzling, deep-ruby hue. The nose bursts with dried red and black fruits, leaf tobacco, dried sage, tar, and rose petals. On the palate there is a purity to the acid that lends itself to minerality. Unmistakably Italian in its origin, the wine finishes with dusty and austere tannins supporting the beautiful fruit.
