Following in the footsteps of our tremendously well-received premier release of the 2013 Aglianico, the 2014 vintage elevates this unique variety even further! Impenetrable color. The mesmerizing aromatics boast crushed ripe raspberries, freshly poured asphalt, and perfume-laden rose petals. The wine is simultaneously brooding and lively. This dance is echoed on the palate with the structure and power for which Aglianico is known, and yet is lightened by a refreshing, graceful finish. Power with levity is one of the most elusive and beautiful characteristics in the world of wine, and this wine possesses both in abundance.
