Our Reserve is made to age for 20 - 30 years in your cellar. Of course, there are some vintage-to-vintage variations to this recommendation. Wine should be stored horizontally at 55 - 57 degrees in a vibration and light free environment.

When we bottled the 2010 Reserve, I wrote that it might be the finest effort of my career. The vintage, though incredibly low yielding, was extraordinary. Now a decade later, I believe it still may be our finest effort yet. The nose is still incredibly youthful and floral. The palate has softened a bit over the last decade and is now seamless with a hidden power to it that is magical. The purity of fruit has not vanished and is as attractive as it was upon release. The length and finish of the wine are perhaps the most perfect attribute – creamy and enduring, the flavor persists in your mouth long after you have tasted it. The wine makes me smile, and I am proud of my team for crafting it with me. We are honored to have achieved a perfect 100-point score for this wine, awarded by The Wine Advocate.
