Our Reserve is made to age for 20 - 30 years in your cellar. Of course, there are some vintage-to-vintage variations to this recommendation. Wine should be stored horizontally at 55 - 57 degrees in a vibration and light free environment.

During blending I remember very clearly being “on the fence” about bottling a 2011 Reserve. It was such a challenging vintage in every way, with miniscule yields and a very cool growing season. At the end of our arduous blending trials, the winemaking team and I finally settled on a wine we felt beyond worthy of being called Leonetti Reserve.  Now, 10 years later, I could not be more pleased with that decision. Holding up to its first decade flawlessly, this beauty is docile and focused with a lovely and delicate palate. The nose of cranberry, red plum, cassis, black pepper, and cola is accompanied by gorgeous bottle notes of minerals and leather. Truly respectful of the cool vintage, it is a suave and elegant wine in its prime with beautiful tannin and fresh acidity.
