Serra Pedace
Tasting Notes
Emanating from our southern-most vineyard, perched atop the wind-swept rocky soils and terraces in the SeVein Vineyards of Distinction, this quintessential Walla Walla Cabernet has an amazing nose of freshly crushed raspberries, coffee, and chalk. The berry size at this vineyard is always our smallest—meaning higher surface area of skin to juice ratio—and it shows in the deep color saturation of this wine. Emblematic of the 2018 vintage, the finish is polished and smooth. Of all our estate vineyards, the fruit from Serra Pedace is generally the most masculine in character.
proper Cellaring recommendations
Our Single-Vineyard Series is made to age for 15+ years in your cellar. Of course, there are some vintage-to-vintage variations to this recommendation. Wine should be stored horizontally at 55 - 57 degrees in a vibration and light free environment.
