True To Our Walla Walla Valley Roots
The term “winemaker” can feel inadequate—great wines aren’t “made” so much as they are shaped by their origins and the guidance of those who craft them. Alone in the cellar, with a thief in one hand and a glass in the other, tasting becomes more than a sensory experience. It’s about connecting with what’s in the glass, understanding where the wine is on its journey, and considering how I’ve influenced it and will continue to do so. For a wine to have soul—reflecting its growing season, heritage, and legacy—it must be approached with respect and a commitment to its ongoing evolution.
