2016 Leonetti Cellar Reserve Magnum

The 2016 Reserve has entered a beautiful stage of development,  revealing an expressive and resolved bouquet of warm muddled strawberries, Italian plum, blackberry pie, and black currant, layered with notes of fresh flowers, sandalwood spice, coffee, baking spices, and dark chocolate. Hints of caramel and sweet tobacco are just beginning to emerge, adding complexity while preserving the wine’s vibrant fruit core. On the palate, the wine opens soft and supple, unfolding into a full, round, and dignified expression marked by ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and plum flavors. Elegant, polished tannins and beautifully integrated acidity provide structure and balance, while notes of cocoa powder, warm spices, and tobacco linger through a remarkably long finish.
